Policies

Placing Orders 

I respond to messages on Instagram, Facebook, and through the chat feature on my website.

Please note that I book up weeks in advance, and it may take up to three days for me to reply to new inquiries. Rush orders are not available.

Cake pick-ups are scheduled Thursday through Sunday only.

Monday–Wednesday is reserved for responding to new requests and preparing upcoming orders, so pick-ups are not available on those days.


How to Place an Order

When messaging me to place an order, please include the following details so I can provide accurate pricing and flavor options:

  • 1. Serving Size – How many people do you need the cake to serve? (This helps determine the cake size.)
  • 2. Design/Theme – Share an inspiration photo or describe your theme. You can also give me creative freedom if you’d like me to design something unique!
  • 3. Date Needed – The exact date of your event.


With this information, I can provide you with pricing, menu options, and let you know about any additional fees for specialty flavors.


Payments

To lock in your cake order, I ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due two days before pick-up.

Once we’ve gone over your design, I’ve given you a quote, and your date has been confirmed, I’ll send you the deposit details.

I’m happy to accept payments through Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal. If those don’t work, I also have a secure payment portal available on my website.


Delivery

All cakes are pick-up by default.

I do offer delivery starting at $25 plus $1.50 per mile. Just send me your address when ordering, and I’ll confirm the total fee.

Please note: delivery must be arranged when placing your order. Switching from pick-up to delivery within 4 days of your event adds a $15 change fee.


Refund

Refunds are not provided for any reason. Each order requires hours of planning and preparation well before I begin decorating, so all sales are final.

Once an item has been picked up by you or your designated party, it is considered “Accepted.” This means you (or your representative) have inspected the cake and are satisfied with it.

  • If a major mistake in the design theme is noticed at pick-up (example: flowers instead of dinosaurs), please alert me immediately. I will do everything I can to correct the issue before you leave.
  • Minor variations in color or design will not be eligible for refund.
  • If you leave with your cake without mentioning any issues and contact me later, no refund will be issued. It is your responsibility to bring up concerns at the time of pick-up so I can address them right away.
  • If a major flavor error is discovered after pick-up (example: an entirely different flavor than ordered), please contact me immediately. If confirmed, a refund or credit will be given for the portion of the cake that was incorrect.

Note: If no flavor choice is provided at the time of booking, vanilla will be used as the default flavor. No refunds will be given for this issue.


Client Responsibility/Transport  

 Please note: All cakes are stored in a refrigerator prior to pick-up. They will be cold when you receive them, which allows for safer transport. I recommend keeping your cake refrigerated until 1-3 hours before serving.

Once a cake leaves my care (unless being delivered by me), it becomes the client’s responsibility. Cakes are very delicate and can be damaged if not handled properly, this includes cracks, smudges, or melted frosting.

Transport Tips:

  • Always drive carefully and slowly, keeping the cake flat in your vehicle.
  • Keep the cake in a cool, climate controlled environment. Phoenix summers are extremely hot, and heat is very hard on cake and icing.
  • Store your cake in the refrigerator, especially during warmer months. This helps prevent damage and makes transport much easier. Allow the cake to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving to soften the icing.

Important Reminders:

  • Do not leave cakes outside at any time. In high temperatures, frosting can melt in less than 20 minutes.
  • Do not leave cakes in your car unattended, even if it feels cool outside. The interior heats up quickly and can cause melting.
  • Do not place cakes near stoves, ovens, or in direct sunlight (even through a window). Extra heat or moisture will cause frosting to soften, melt, or collapse.
